Integrations

Monitr connects to a wide range of external platforms to pull in financial data automatically. Integrations are configured at the organisation level and assigned to entities.

Integration categories

Accounting Software

The primary data source for all reports and dashboards. Accounting integrations pull general ledger transactions, account definitions, and analytical axes.

Connecting an integration

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Select the tab for the integration type (e.g., Accounting Software, CRM).
  3. Find the provider card and click Add.
  4. Follow the authentication steps (OAuth redirect or API key entry).
  5. Assign the integration to the relevant entities.

Integration health

The Integrations page shows the status of all connected integrations. If an integration has an error (e.g. expired token), it's highlighted with a warning and instructions to reconnect.

Managing integrations

Each integration card shows which entities are connected. When at least one entity is connected, a Settings (gear) icon appears in the card title area.

Removing entity connections or entire integrations

To manage an integration:

  1. Go to Integrations
  2. Find the integration card.
  3. Click the Settings (gear) icon in the integration card title area.
  4. In the panel that opens, you can:
    • Delete individual entity connections by clicking the Delete (trash can) icon next to each entity.
    • Delete the entire integration with the Delete integration button at the bottom.

Deleting an entity connection stops imports only for that entity. Deleting the entire integration removes all connections at once.

Data retention

Disconnecting or deleting an integration does not delete the data already imported into Monitr. Historical data remains accessible in reports. Future imports for entities using that integration will stop.
