Stripe
The Stripe integration pulls subscription and billing data directly from your Stripe account into the Recurring Revenue budget module. Instead of manually entering MRR, Monitr reads actual subscription events from Stripe.
What Monitr imports from Stripe
| Data | Used for |
|---|---|
| Active subscriptions | MRR calculation |
| Subscription events (new, cancelled, upgraded, downgraded) | Cohort tracking |
| MRR by period | Recurring Revenue module actuals |
Connecting Stripe

- Find the Stripe card and click Add
- Click Connect — redirected to Stripe OAuth
- Select your Stripe account
- Authorise Monitr read access
How data flows into the Recurring Revenue module
Once connected:
- Monitr reads your Stripe subscription data nightly
- The Recurring Revenue module shows actual Stripe MRR data for past periods
- You overlay forward-looking assumptions (projected new customers, churn rate) on top
- The combined view gives you actuals + forecast in the Forecast report
Managing the integration
Once connected, the integration card shows the status. Click the Settings (gear) icon in the integration card title area.
Click the settings icon to remove the connection or delete the integration from Monitr.
What Stripe data does not include
- One-off payments and non-subscription invoices are not treated as MRR
- Stripe Connect (marketplace) revenue requires additional configuration
Notes
- Monitr requests read-only access to your Stripe account — it never initiates charges or modifies subscriptions.
- The connecting Stripe account must have at least one active subscription product to be usable.
