Creating an eBoekhouden API key

eBoekhouden requires an API Key to establish a connection. This key is found in your eBoekhouden account settings.

Finding your API Key:

  1. Log in to eBoekhouden.nl
  2. Go to Beheer (Management)
  3. Navigate to Koppelingen (Connections) → API
  4. You will see your API Key displayed (previously referred to as Security Code 1 and Security Code 2).
  5. Copy this key — you'll need it for the next step.

Important note: Your API Key changes whenever you update your eBoekhouden password. If you change your password, you'll need to retrieve the new API Key from the same location.

Connecting eBoekhouden

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Select the Accounting Software tab.
  3. Find the eBoekhouden card and click Add.
  4. Enter your API Key in the API Key field.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Select the administration from the list.

Managing the integration

Once connected, the integration card shows the connected administration. Click the Settings (gear) icon in the integration card title area.

Click the Settings (gear) icon to remove the connection or delete the entire integration from Monitr.
