Connecting Twinfield

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Select the Accounting Software tab.
  3. Find the Twinfield card and click Add.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. You will be redirected to the Twinfield OAuth page. Log in with your Twinfield credentials and authorize Monitr to access your data.
  6. After successful authorization, you will be redirected back to Monitr. Select the office(s) / administrations you want to import.

Multi-office support

Twinfield organizations often have multiple offices (administrations). Each office maps to a separate entity in Monitr.

Dimensions

Twinfield supports up to multiple dimension types (Dim1, Dim2, Dim3 — typically cost centre, project, and free dimension). Monitr imports all active dimension values. During entity setup, you select which dimension is your primary analytical axis for account mapping.

Managing the integration

Once connected, the integration card shows the connected offices. Click the Settings (gear) icon in the integration card title area.

Click the Settings (gear) icon to remove individual office connections or delete the entire integration from Monitr.

Troubleshooting

Token issues: Twinfield OAuth tokens can expire after inactivity. If imports fail with authentication errors:

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Click the Settings (gear) icon on the Twinfield integration card.
  3. Delete the connection that has failed.
  4. Find the Twinfield card and click Add to reconnect via OAuth.

Missing transactions: Ensure the connecting user has read access to all periods and offices in Twinfield.

Notes

  • Initial imports for large historical datasets may take more time than other integrations.
