We've completely redesigned Teams & User Management in Monitr. Whether you're managing a small team or a large organisation with dozens of users across multiple entities, the new system makes it faster, clearer, and more secure.
What's New​
Redesigned User Overview​
The user management screen has been rebuilt from the ground up:
- Cleaner layout with a clear overview of all users, their roles, and their entity access
- Inline role editing — change a user's role directly from the overview without opening a separate panel
- Bulk actions — invite, deactivate, or reassign multiple users at once
Improved Team Structure​
Teams now have a more flexible structure:
- Custom teams can be created for any purpose — by department, by client, by region
- Entity-level access is now managed at the team level, not just the user level
- Default team logic has been clarified — new entities are automatically added to the default team
Stronger Access Controls​
- Pending invitation management — see and resend or cancel pending invites
- Deactivation flow — deactivating a user immediately revokes all their access tokens
- Audit trail — changes to team membership and roles are now logged
How to Access It​
Go to Organisation → Teams in the sidebar to explore the new interface. Existing teams and user assignments have been migrated automatically — no action required.
Why We Rebuilt It​
The old user management was built for smaller teams. As Monitr organisations grew, the limitations became clear. This rebuild sets the foundation for more advanced permission features coming in 2026.
