Introducing Monitr MCP: Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and More to Your Data

We've launched Monitr MCP — a way to connect the AI assistant you already use directly to your Monitr data. It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, and any other tool that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Key Capabilities​

  • Bring your own AI assistant: Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, or any other MCP-compatible tool directly to Monitr — no copying data back and forth.
  • Read-only or full access, your choice: Decide whether the connected tool can only view your data, or also create and update it — adjusting entries, budget lines, account mappings, and more.
  • Covers the full picture: Reporting down to account and dimension level, budgets and forecasts with their assumptions, transactions and outstanding items, personnel costs, and organisation settings.
  • You stay in control: Every connection shows you exactly which application is asking, and it only ever sees what your own Monitr account can already see.

Why This Matters​

Monitr gives you the same answer every time from the same data; an AI assistant working from a vague description or a copy-pasted number can still get it wrong. Connecting your assistant directly to your real figures cuts out that guesswork, so you can ask it questions in your own workflow instead of switching tabs or exporting reports first.
