Multiple Reporting Structures & Team-Based Access
We've made two major improvements to how reporting structures work in Monitr: you can now have multiple reporting structures per entity, and you can control which teams have access to each structure.
Multiple Reporting Structures
Until now, each entity was limited to a single reporting structure. That's changing.
You can now create and manage multiple reporting structures for the same entity — each with its own account mappings, layout, and configuration. This is especially useful for organisations that report to different stakeholders (e.g. management vs. statutory) or use different frameworks for different purposes.
Team-Based Access
With multiple structures comes the need for access control. You can now assign each reporting structure to one or more teams, so each team only sees the structures relevant to their work.
This means:
- Finance teams can work on their own structures without interfering with others
- Consolidation or management teams can have their own dedicated views
- Sensitive structures can be restricted to the right people
How to Use It
Go to Setup → Reporting Structures to create a new structure or manage existing ones. When creating or editing a structure, you'll find the new Teams access setting in the configuration panel.
This update is available to all Monitr users.
