A smoother way to navigate your timelines

Navigating between periods just got a lot smoother. We've redesigned the date slider used across reports and forecasting views to make it faster and more intuitive to work with your financial timelines.

What Changed​

The date range selector has been rebuilt with a cleaner interaction model:

  • Drag to select a custom date range directly on the timeline
  • Snap to standard periods (month, quarter, year) with a single click
  • Visual feedback shows the selected range clearly as you adjust it
  • Works consistently across actuals reports, budget views, and forecast scenarios

Why It Matters​

Switching between periods — especially when comparing actuals to budget or year-on-year — was one of the most common actions our users perform. A clunky date picker adds up over time. The new slider makes this a fluid, near-instant interaction.
