simple-budget-settings

The Simple Budget settings allow you to define the scope and parameters for your budget. You can access these settings from the "Budget versions" page.

To access the Simple Budget settings:

  1. Navigate to "Definitions" in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click on "Budget versions".
  3. Select the Simple Budget you wish to configure.
  4. Hover over the budget panel to reveal the icon toolbar in the top right corner, then click the Edit (pencil) icon.
  5. The settings panel will appear.

Reporting Structure

If your entity has multiple reporting structures, you can select which one this budget applies to.

  1. Click the dropdown menu next to "Reporting Structure".
  2. Select the desired reporting structure from the list.

Budget Range

This setting defines the period your budget covers.

  1. Click on the date range picker next to "Budget Range".
  2. Select the start and end months for your budget. The calendar allows you to pick months, not specific days.

Search Filter

Use the search filters to narrow down the accounts and axes included in your budget.

  1. In the "Search Filter" section, use the "Search account" field to filter by account names.
  2. Use the "Search axis" field to filter by axis names.

Include all budgets

This toggle determines whether the Simple Budget should include data from all budget scenarios or only the current one.

  1. Toggle the "Include all budgets" switch to On to include data from all budget scenarios.
  2. Toggle the switch to Off to include data only from the current budget scenario.
