Signing in

To access your Monitr workspace and manage your financial data, you'll need to sign in with your account credentials.

Signing in with email and password

  1. Go to app.monitr.be
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Enter your password
  4. Click Sign in

If you've entered incorrect credentials, you'll see an error message: "Incorrect username or password". Verify your email and password, and try again.

If you've forgotten your password, click the Forgot password? link to reset it.

Signing in with Microsoft (SSO)

If your organisation has Microsoft SSO enabled, you can sign in using your Microsoft account.

  1. Go to app.monitr.be
  2. Click Sign in with Microsoft (visible below the email/password fields)
  3. You'll be taken to Microsoft's login page
  4. Enter your Microsoft account credentials
  5. Review the permissions Monitr is requesting and accept them
  6. You'll be returned to Monitr and signed in automatically

Using Microsoft SSO makes it easier to manage a single set of credentials if you're already using Microsoft 365.

SSO availability

Microsoft SSO is not enabled by default. If you don't see the Sign in with Microsoft option, contact your Monitr administrator to enable it for your organisation.

Two-step verification

If you have two-step verification (MFA) enabled on your account, you'll need to provide a code from your authenticator app after entering your email and password.

  1. Enter your email and password as usual.
  2. You'll be taken to the Two-step verification page.
  3. Open your authenticator app (such as Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, or Authy).
  4. Find the 6-digit code for your Monitr account.
  5. Enter the code into the Two-step verification code field.
  6. Click Sign in.

If you enter an incorrect code, you'll see an error: "Incorrect two-step verification code". Check your authenticator app again and try with a fresh code (codes refresh every 30 seconds).

Resetting your password

If you can't remember your password, you can reset it:

  1. Click the Forgot password? link on the sign-in page.
  2. On the Forgot password page, enter the email address associated with your account in the Email field.
  3. Click Reset password.
  4. Check your email for a password reset link. We'll send an email to the address you provided with instructions on how to reset your password.
  5. Click the link in the email to go to the password reset page. This link expires after a short time.
  6. On the Reset password page, your email address will be pre-filled and cannot be changed.
  7. Enter your new password in the Password field.
  8. If two-step verification is enabled for your account, an additional Two-step verification code field will appear. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
  9. Click Reset password.

After resetting your password, return to the login page and sign in with your new credentials.

Troubleshooting login issues

Check the following if you can't sign in:

  • Email address: Verify you're entering the exact email address you used when creating your account.
  • Password: Your password is case-sensitive. Check that Caps Lock is not on.
  • Two-step verification: If enabled, ensure you have access to your authenticator app and that your device clock is synced (authenticator apps rely on accurate time).
  • Microsoft SSO: If signing in via Microsoft fails, check that your Microsoft account email matches the email address registered with Monitr.

If you're still unable to sign in after checking these items, contact Monitr support for help recovering your account.
