Create Your Account
Registration
Go to app.monitr.be and click Create account to go to the sign-up page. Fill in your first name, last name, work email address, company name, and mobile number.
After filling in your details:
- Confirm you agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions
- Click Sign up
- Check your email for a verification link
- Click the link in the email to set your password
Alternatively, you can click Register with Microsoft to sign up using your Microsoft account.
Setting a password
Once you click your verification link, you'll be asked to set a password. Passwords must meet the following requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- A mix of letters and numbers is recommended
- Avoid reusing passwords from other services
Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
After setting your password, you'll be offered the option to set up MFA. This is highly recommended for security.
Monitr uses TOTP-based MFA (Time-based One-Time Password). To set it up:
- Download an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator)
- Scan the QR code shown on the setup screen
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm setup
Once MFA is active, you'll be asked for a code on every login.
You can skip MFA setup during registration and enable it later from Profile → Account (under MFA settings). However, we recommend setting it up immediately.
What happens next?
Once your registration is complete, you're logged in and ready to begin the onboarding process. Monitr will guide you through setting up your organisation and connecting your accounting software.
