Booklet Export

The Booklet Export generates a professional multi-page PDF document combining your Monitr dashboards and reports. Use it for board packs, investor updates, monthly management reports, and any situation where you need a clean, printable financial summary.

Accessing Booklet Export

In the sidebar, click Create Booklet. This opens the booklet configuration page. The sidebar item only appears if you have permission to create booklets (available to all entity and organisation administrator roles).

Organisation-level booklets (Premium)

On Premium with consolidation enabled, you can create booklets at the organisation level -- showing consolidated data across all entities. This is the standard format for group-level board reporting.

To create organisation-level booklets:

  1. First, enable consolidation from Organisation Settings (see Consolidation).
  2. Switch to consolidated view by selecting your organisation (not a specific entity) in the top navigation.
  3. Go to Create Booklet -- the interface now operates at the organisation level instead of entity level.

Tips for board packs

  • Lead with the Key Metrics dashboard as a summary page.
  • Follow with the P&L (Forecast view if you have budget data, Actuals if not).
  • Add a Delta page to show budget vs. actual variance.
  • Finish with Balance Sheet and **Cash Flow).
  • Keep the numeric display at "thousands" for readability at board level.
Save your configuration

Once you've set up a booklet layout you're happy with, the next month's booklet can be generated by changing only the date range. All page selections persist.
